Masterson names running mate
Read Article (Will be updated as warranted) Senate President Ty Masterson on Monday morning named a state senator from Leavenworth County as his running mate as he officially filed to run for governor. Masterson tapped Republican state Sen. Jeff Klemp of Lansing to be his running mate for lieutenant governor. Klemp is not up for re-election so he can return to the Senate if Masterson isn't elected governor. Klemp is in his first term representing 5th District in the Kansas Senate after narrowly
